Wall St. Journal/Venture Capital Dispatch: The Daily Startup

DataRobot Inc., which is automating the analysis of big data that is often done manually or with lower-order tools by data scientists to arrive at predictive conclusions about a business, closed a $33 million Series B round in November.  New Enterprise Associates, which co-led the company’s Series A round, stepped up to lead this deal pre-emptively. All existing investors participated, including Accomplice, IA Ventures and New York Life Insurance Co.
