DataRobot’s technology brings more agility in decision-making and becomes an important ally in Smiles’ customer success area

São Paulo, September 8, 2020 – Smiles, GOL’s loyalty program, today announced it has selected DataRobot and its enterprise AI platform for a more robust analysis of its data and to offer a differentiated experience to its customers. Smiles chose DataRobot to analyze the large volume of information collected and to define what was really a priority with regards to generating strategic insights for the customer relationship area.

“DataRobot has a tool that is capable of democratizing modeling and assisting analysts, even those who are not formally trained as a data scientist,” said Estela Quiaratto Brandão, CRM and Analytics manager at Smiles. “We have been investing in our AI-driven model structure for more than two years, and this initiative will be very important to advance our strategy.”

Through data intelligence, Smiles has been increasingly creating customized offers for its customers and promoting the best experience when traveling. “The partnership with DataRobot will give us more clarity about trends and behaviors related to our customers’ journeys, contributing to faster decisions that will enhance the overall experience,” adds Estela.

According to Gabriel Lobitsky, VP of Sales at DataRobot in Brazil, Smiles values the quality of service and loyalty. “Through our enterprise AI platform and our AI success support, the customer registers greater precision in the generation of predictive models that support the offer of customized products and services,” he says.

Through the partnership, Smiles has access to a library with powerful learning algorithms and a ranking of models to solve a wide variety of problems or needs in its operation. The solution also allows users to create and implement AI and machine learning in a transparent and fully automated way, with a user-friendly interface.

DataRobot was founded in 2012 and, since launching its automated machine learning platform in 2015, has incorporated more than three million hours of engineering innovation into the product. Unlike other tools that provide limited automation for selected parts of the data science workflow, the solution covers all the steps that are necessary to create, implement, and maintain powerful AI applications in scale and end-to-end. “With predictions about the customer’s behavior, it is very easy to understand what he wishes to build loyalty and improve the relationship,” adds Lobitsky.
