DataRobot’s Global AI Ethicist Receives VentureBeat’s Women in AI Award for Responsibility and Ethics

Dr. Haniyeh Mahmoudian recognized for her work with Trusted AI

July 16, 2021 — BOSTON, MA — DataRobot, the leader in Augmented Intelligence, today announced DataRobot’s Global AI Ethicist, Haniyeh Mahmoudian, Ph.D. received VentureBeat’s Responsibility and Ethics Award as part of the Women in AI Innovation Awards. 

Dr. Mahmoudian is recognized for her pivotal role in implementing bias and fairness testing and mitigation in the DataRobot AI platform. VentureBeat’s Women in AI Awards recognizes women who are leaders in Artificial Intelligence.

An astrophysicist turned data scientist, Dr. Mahmoudian leads the Applied AI Ethics Team at DataRobot with a focus on bias and fairness, privacy, governance, and ethics in AI and ML.
