CEO & Co-Founder
Jeremy is a data scientist turned entrepreneur. As CEO of DataRobot, Jeremy sets the direction of the company, products, and the culture. He’s passionate about helping organizations become more efficient by deploying machine learning everywhere. Prior to DataRobot, he was Director of Research and Modeling at Travelers Insurance where he built predictive models for pricing, retention, conversion, elasticity, lifetime value, customer behavior, claims and much more. A true data science enthusiast, Jeremy spends his spare time building predictive models, usually on the data science competition platform Kaggle.com. Jeremy studied Math, Physics, Computer Science, and Statistics at University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
CTO & Co-Founder
Tom has more than 10 years of experience as a data science leader, building and implementing predictive models. As CTO of DataRobot, Tom projects the vision of the company by directing its strategic technology investments. Before DataRobot, Tom was Senior Director of Research and Modeling at Travelers Insurance, where he managed a team of data scientists. Tom has been ranked as high as 20th in the world on the data science competition platform Kaggle.com, which has more than 500,000 registered data scientists. Tom has his master’s degree in Mathematics, and a bachelor’s degree in Physics from University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
Matt is a seasoned finance executive, with 15+ years experience in senior finance and operations leadership at private, public and venture-backed technology companies, ranging from early start-up through high-growth. As CFO at DataRobot, Matt is responsible for strategic planning, operations, finance and accounting, human resources, legal and facilities. Prior to DataRobot, Matt was the Vice President of Finance for Vertica, where he led the company through its acquisition by HP. Before Vertica, Matt held roles at F5 Networks, Acopia Networks (where he led its acquisition by F5), Tiburon Networks, Radionics (supporting its acquisition by Tyco), and Shiva Corporation. In his career, Matt has closed over $85 million in equity and debt financings and has led the finance function of three acquisitions with total value of over $650 million.
Chris, Chief Operating Officer at DataRobot, is responsible for making functions across the company — including Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, DataRobot University, and Product — hum in an integrated fashion. Chris has more than 25 years of experience in various Sales and Operations roles. Most recently, he was one of the earliest account executives at Cloudera, where he managed a strategic relationship with one of the world’s largest banks. Prior to Cloudera, Chris had experience founding two companies — PGA Investments and BISG — in addition to holding positions in Sales, Analytics, and Product Management at Witness Systems, MicroStrategy, Informix Software, and Systems Engineering at EDS. Chris received his BBA in Management Information Systems.
Corporate Development & Strategy
Igor Taber is DataRobot Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy. He is responsible for growth strategy and managing DataRobot’s sourcing and execution of mergers and acquisitions. He previously led Intel Capital’s investment into DataRobot and served on company’s Board as an observer since 2015. Taber spent almost two decades as a venture capitalist and an operating executive. Prior to DataRobot, he was Managing Director at Intel Capital, and spent almost a decade before that in product management, business development and operational roles.
Xavier is a French actuary with nearly 20 years of working experience in France, Brazil, China, and Singapore. He transitioned into a data scientist role in 2011, and gained experience with machine learning by competing on Kaggle. He’s since won 10 prizes and was the #1 ranked data scientist on Kaggle in 2012-2013. Before becoming a data science enthusiast, Xavier held various roles in the life and general insurance industry, including Actuary, Deputy Head of Budget and Planning, Chief Actuary, Finance Director, and Risk Manager.
Rob runs DataRobot’s Engineering efforts, leading the team that is building the most advanced and easy-to-use machine learning platform in the world. Rob came to DataRobot from Ericsson, where he led the telecommunication equipment giant’s efforts to build their video technology portfolio, including the integration of Azuki Systems, a next-generation video delivery platform for multiscreen devices. Rob served as vice president of engineering at Azuki prior to its acquisition by Ericsson. Rob’s 20+ years of experience also include engineering roles at Cisco, Arrowpoint Communications, and Bay Networks. Rob received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University.
Liuba is responsible for everything related to DataRobot’s greatest asset–people. Her responsibilities include hiring, retaining, and ensuring that people at DataRobot are happy to come to work each day. Liuba started as one of the first DataRobot employees and has helped it grow from single digits to 150+ people, shaping its culture along the way. In his role as vice president of Product Management at DataRobot, Phil leads the product team and is responsible for product strategy, definition, and direction of the DataRobot product portfolio. Phil is a seasoned product executive with over 10 years of experience leading product teams specializing in enterprise analytics software. Phil came to DataRobot from Intel where he led product management and defined the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Intel’s Internet of Things edge analytics software platform. Phil received his MS in Mechanical Controls and Dynamics from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Worldwide Customer Success
John is passionate about Customer Success and leads an organization which ensures every DataRobot customer is a successful customer. John has built world class customer success organizations for companies including Netezza, Neo4j, and IBM. His past success has led to numerous awards and associated embarrassing acceptance speeches. John is a Scottish ex-pat with his Masters Degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Edinburgh University.
Rich is responsible for management of the global sales team. He is a proven enterprise technology sales leader, bringing over 25 years of experience working with disruptive technology startups. Prior to joining DataRobot, Rich worked in an expanding series of roles at innovative software companies including Netezza (acquired by IBM), Witness Systems (acquired by Verint), and MicroStrategy. Rich received his BS in Information and Decision Systems from Carnegie Mellon University.
Razi is responsible for helping clients build and execute on their AI strategy with an unrelenting focus on business outcomes. He was instrumental in bringing DataRobot to market and scaling the business globally. Razi has over 20 years of experience delivering successful product, marketing, and sales strategies, generating multi-hundred million dollar revenue streams at companies such as IBM, Netezza, and EMC. Razi received his MBA from Cornell University and his MS in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University.
Greg Michaelson is part of the Customer Success team at DataRobot, working with banking clients to accelerate their use of AI and machine learning. He also leads DataRobot Labs, the professional services team at DataRobot. Prior to joining DataRobot, Greg led modeling teams at Travelers and Regions Financial, focusing on pricing and risk modeling. He earned his Ph.D. in applied statistics from the Culverhouse College of Business Administration at the University of Alabama. Greg lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife and four children and their pet tarantula.
Eric is responsible for helping Public Sector clients, both Federal and State and local entities, build, execute and accelerate their use of AI and Machine Learning. He is a proven technology leader with over 20 years’ experience leading Public Sector divisions of successful disruptive startups. Prior to joining DataRobot, Eric held VP of Public Sector roles helping to generate hundreds of millions in revenue for companies including Pindrop, NETIQ (Acquired by Microfocus), and Starbase (Acquired by Borland). Eric holds an MBA from the University of Maryland in Management and MIS.
Bill is responsible for global marketing with over 25 years of experience marketing disruptive technologies to organizations of all sizes, including more than a decade in the data management, analytics, and SaaS space. Prior to joining DataRobot, Bill held marketing leadership roles at innovative software companies including Oracle, Bullhorn, Endeca (acquired by Oracle), Ascential Software (acquired by IBM), and StreamBase (acquired by Tibco). Bill has a BS in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Worldwide Business Development
Seann Gardiner runs Worldwide Business Development, where he has global responsibility for DataRobot’s partner ecosystem. Prior to joining DataRobot, Seann spent four years at Alteryx as SVP of Business Development, where he led the build out of their Channel, Systems Integrator, Technology and OEM partners and led their efforts in Asia Pacific and Latin America, a significant portion of Alteryx’s revenue. Before that, Seann served as Senior Director of Business Development at KACE. KACE was subsequently acquired by Dell in 2010, when he relocated to Europe and spent three years driving rapid expansion of KACE across EMEA. Seann also held numerous business development, alliance, and sales roles at IT security leader Sophos and at ActiveState. Seann holds an M.B.A from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Commerce from Royal Roads University.
Data Science Practice
Dr. Gourab De leads the Data Science Practice team at DataRobot, where his primary focus is helping customers improve their ability to make and implement predictions. Dr. De’s previous expertise is in the application of analytics in Pharmaceuticals, Providers and Payer space. His professional experience spans a wide variety of topics, including genetics, bioinformatics, clinical trials, real-world effectiveness analysis with claims, PROs and charts, population health management, behavioral health, and predictive modeling. Dr. De graduated with honors from the Indian Statistical Institute in Kolkata, India, and received a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from Harvard University.
Chief of Staff
As Chief of Staff at DataRobot, Natalie works closely with the CEO and executive team members to ensure leadership effectiveness as well as to manage multiple cross-team projects and strategic initiatives. She brings 10 years of program management and executive projects experience to the team through her previous work in a variety of industries, strongly showcasing her abilities to maintain organizational effectiveness and determination to meet the high standards of productivity to deliver company goals. Natalie received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture and Art History from Rhode Island School of Design.
