Execute technical programming expertise; write code to show how other tools like Python and R can be integrated into a DataRobot workflow; be highly proficient in programing in Python and R. Advise customers on data science best practices, from data engineering, feature engineering, through model selection, assessment, deployment and monitoring. Demonstrate the functionality of DataRobot software to prospective customers. Answer all technical data science questions, especially as they relate to the DataRobot platform. Demonstrate the value of predictive modeling using the software to customer leadership teams by being a technical expert on data science and its application in industry. Demonstrate end-to-end data science workflow related to DataRobot. For example, ETL solutions like Alteryx, which can push datasets into DataRobot for production scoring. Leverage programming expertise to create custom solutions as needed. Understand the technical details and architecture of customer production scoring environment and the scoring requirements of the customer use case. Train and support customers to deploy models into the relevant production scoring environment; assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase of deployment. Execute PoCs with new groups interested to test DataRobot on their own datasets and evaluate the software. Give technical demonstrations to interested organizations within existing customers that have not yet been exposed to DataRobot. Leverage data science practical experience to author blog posts that detail how DataRobot can be used to solve problems in industry. Develop technical content to support webinars on topics that have not been covered in the past. Perform customized onsite training sessions for customers to upskill them on machine learning and DataRobot. Present at conferences to educate industry practitioners on machine learning best practices. Participate in teaching public DataRobot University courses to help evangelize and educate prospects and customers on how to use DataRobot to solve machine learning problems. Design and develop online training modules for internal technical enablement using open source tools like Python and R, and DataRobot as well. Deliver internal live training sessions to upskill the team on various components of DataRobot. Up to 30% domestic and international travel required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field;
- 5 years experience as a Data Scientist or related role;
- 5 years experience in Python, R, and building machine learning models; and
- 3 years experience designing data driven sales leads.
